The basics, without the legal fog
Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 August 2026
1. Who we are
Vanecraft is a Hong Kong-based provider of small custom software tools, digital templates, and done-for-you digital services. You can reach us at hello@vanecraft.com.
2. How an order starts
You tell us the task and the result you need. We then send you a written delivery spec and a fixed price. An order starts only after you approve that spec and we confirm payment.
The delivery spec is part of our agreement. It records what we will deliver, what you need to provide, the price, and any timing different from our standard 48-hour delivery.
3. What we deliver
Each order is a defined digital deliverable or service. It may be a micro-tool, automation, spreadsheet workflow, data cleanup, converter, report generator, template, custom design, or another agreed digital service.
We deliver the agreed files, access details, or completed service electronically. Unless the delivery spec says otherwise, hosting, ongoing maintenance, and future feature work are not included.
4. Delivery and revisions
Our standard delivery time is 48 hours from confirmed payment and receipt of everything we need from you. If a custom job needs a different timeline, we will state it in the delivery spec before you pay.
One reasonable round of revisions is included. A revision adjusts the agreed deliverable; it does not add a new workflow, output, platform, or feature. We will quote additional or out-of-scope work separately.
5. Your part
Please provide accurate instructions, usable source material, and timely answers. A delay in receiving required information pauses the delivery clock until we have what we need.
You confirm that you have permission to share any files, data, branding, text, or images you send us. Do not send unlawful material, malware, payment-card details, passwords, or data you are not allowed to use.
6. Payment
Prices are fixed and agreed before payment. Payment is handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number. Any taxes or currency-conversion charges shown at checkout are your responsibility.
7. Ownership
After full payment, the final custom deliverable belongs to you. You may use, edit, and commercialise it.
We keep ownership of our general know-how, internal methods, and tools that existed before your order. Open-source software and third-party materials remain subject to their own licences. We will identify any important third-party restrictions that apply to your delivery.
8. Reasonable use
You may not use our work to break the law, harm people, mislead others, invade privacy, access systems without permission, or distribute malicious software. We may decline or stop work that creates a clear legal, security, or safety risk. If we stop an order for a reason unrelated to your conduct, we will refund the undelivered work.
9. Refunds
Our Refund Policy is part of these terms. In short: if you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 30 days. If we miss the agreed 48-hour delivery deadline, and no different deadline was agreed in writing, we issue a full refund automatically.
10. Things outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events we could not reasonably prevent, such as major internet or cloud-service outages, natural disasters, government action, or serious illness. We will tell you promptly and limit the delay where we can. If the applicable delivery deadline is missed, we will still issue the automatic full refund promised in our Refund Policy. Before that deadline, you may choose a new date or cancel for a full refund.
11. Practical limits
We will provide the agreed work with reasonable care. Because small tools often depend on customer data, browsers, operating systems, or third-party services, we cannot promise that every external service will remain unchanged or available forever.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Our maximum responsibility for an order is the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for future orders. The version shown when you pay applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Hong Kong unless consumer law requires otherwise.
13. Questions
If anything is unclear, email hello@vanecraft.com before paying. We would rather clarify the scope than surprise you later.
